Ohne Zwei: 無二.

English:

What will remain in the end if all is unknown?
Ohne Zwei: 無二. A word from Buddhism that describes an unlimited state. Empty, one without another, one vacuum for experience, nirvana.
Jasmine Fan brings to the stage the idea that the world or being is not made up of separate, solid things, but of forces or vibrations that mutually intertwine, just as dance does.
In order to make this feeling of the connection between all things and the dissolution of opposites tangible, she divides the space with a translucent canvas on which movements from everyday life are projected. On either side of the curtain sits the audience. The viewers become an indistinct reflection of themselves and of the stage. Three dancers move across the divided stage, softening the boundaries between dream, reality, everyday life and theater.

Jasmine Fan > In 2011, Jasmine finished her double major in dance and film at the National Taiwan University of Arts and her masters in film at the Hochschule für bildende Künste (HfbK). Since her arrival in Europe, she has been working with different artists and media with dance-film being a central topic. Parallel to that, she has been developing her own skills, and is experimenting with the incorporation of traditional Chinese folk dance and Xu-Kung into her contemporary dance work.

Marion Sparber > Originally from Süd Tirol, now based in Berlin, Marion is a freelance dancer, teacher, and choreographer who has given workshops and participated in works throughout Europe and South America. She completed her education in dance at Varium in Barcelona and Iwanson in Munich. Her work emphasizes the flow of using the floor and awareness of the whole body with balance of strength and flexibility.
Marion is a co-founder of Shared Levitation, a duo that creates work based on personal connection and partnering principals, giving workshops and performances on an international level.

Alan Fuentes Guerra > Originally from Mexico, Alan is now based in Berlin after training at SEAD in Salzburg and receiving his bachelor’s in Contemporary dance from EPDM in Mazatlán, Mexico. In addition to performing and creating, Alan is currently researching improvisation and theater with an emphasis in the the relationship between physical dance and movement. He is a co-founder of Shared Levitation, and travels internationally to give workshops and performances, bringing the organic possibilities of partnering to the dance scene across Europe.
