ConTrust Collective

Trust is one of the most powerful components of human nature - a fundament of our relations defining the process of creating them. Believe it ́s a mental architecture of how we interpret the world. We often take for granted what's situated in front of us, we rely on it, and thus it shapes us unnoticed day by day. It is an ambiguous feeling which we constantly search for but at the same time we are also afraid of - thus a dynamic journey through unknown space in which we step forth and back. The performance approaches individual aspect of believe, its role in relations between people and social perspective of beliefs, fracturing the emotional states, reception, choices and decisions where the state of mind creates certain capacity of the body.
Through the performance three individuals, are taking part in this journey through human relations, where together they are dealing with their own conditions of trust, experiencing relations with each other and their disappointments, making choices, giving up and falling into the unknown - searching for their own reality shared with others. And now, are you ready to fall in someone else`s arms?


BIOGRAPHY ConTrust Collective
ConTrust Collective, based in Dresden, Germany emerged in 2015 as a collaboration between Malwina Stepien and Martin Angiuli. They created the first short work - a duo TRUST with choreography of Malwina Stepien. TRUST was premiered at 7th International SoloDuo NRW+Friends Festival in Barnes Crossing Studio in Cologne, Germany, where it was announced as The Best Emerging Artists Duo in 2015. In 2016 they received a special mention and performed the duo at the Gala on the 17th SoloDuo Festival in Budapest, Hungary. In 2016 at 9th CORTOINDANZA festival in Cagliari, Sardinia the duo received The Best Choreographic Dramaturgy award (Miglior Scrittura Coreografica).
Since 2017 the collective joined Alberto Cissello and together they have developed TRUST as a full time performance. The collective was having the residency at Stalker Teatro in Turin given by Residenca Arte Transitiva following with the residency given by Tenza Schmiede in Dresden, Germany. They premiered in May 2017 in Teatro T.Off in Cagliari, Sardinia and currently they continue performing in numerous festivals in Italy and Germany. In 2019 the collective is planning to premiere a new creation Intermission.
