Mykoriza ist eine offene Gruppe von Musiker_Innen, Künstler_Innen und Kurator_Innen, die fachübergreifende Kunstproduktionen umsetzt. Die Grundlage der Tätigkeiten sind Ideologiekritik sowie das Entwickeln neuer Kooperationsmodelle. Mykoriza ersetzt Konkurrenz durch Kooperation und Zwang durch Wunsch.
Mykoriza versteht ihre Arbeit als Konfrontation mit der herrschenden Logik des Neo-Liberalismus mittels künstlerischer Kooperation. Die Arbeitsweise der Gruppe zeichnet sich durch die Gestaltung nicht nur des Endproduktes, sondern auch der Arbeitsweise selbst aus.
WAHL PLATZ FREI erforscht Verhältnisse zwischen Ideologie, Realität und Wirklichkeit. Was ist der Unterschied zwischen Realität und Wirklichkeit? Wie entsteht ein Verhalten? Wie ist unser Verhältnis zu unserem Verhalten?
Mykoriza versucht diese Fragen in zwei Stücken auf die Schaffensprozesse zu übertragen: Ist eine Kooperation ein Abbild von gesellschaftlichen Hierarchien? Wählen wir unsere Rollen freiwillig, oder sind sie schon bestimmt? Ist die Wahl frei? Ist der Platz für diese Wahl frei?
In ›PEEP SHOW‹ (Raphaelis/Wassiljew) werden zwei Welten gegenübergestellt: Die angebliche Harmlosigkeit der medialen Welt grenzt an die tatsächliche Grausamkeit der wirklichen. Die Performerin wandert zwischen mehreren im Raum verteilten Stationen umher. Ihr Agieren schafft Verbindungen zwischen diversen Objekten einer medialen Landschaft. So entsteht eine Topologie des poetischen Graphes, man sucht einen Weg zu einem eindeutigen Sinn, aber es gibt nur Vielfalt. Eine Suche nach der Realität.
›Tra Due‹ (Buttlar/Giusti) umgibt das Publikum mit einer 8-Kanal-Textur aus elektronischen Klängen, die mit Video begleitet wird. Das Video zeigt Aufnahmen des Alltagslebens sowie aus den Dokumentationen von Mykorizas Zusammenarbeit. Wo verläuft die Grenze zwischen der alltäglichen Präsenz und der Bühnenpräsenz? ›Tra Due‹ ist ein audio-visuelles Portrait des Kompositionsprozesses, in dem die Zusammenarbeit der Musiker_Innen, die sie begleitenden Klänge, die Körperlichkeit und das Leben außerhalb der Bühne in Verbindung gebracht werden.
