Wir feiern das 15 Jahre Soul Explosion Jubiläum im Lido gemeinsam mit Nicole Willis & the Soul Investigators.
Nicole Willis and the Soul Investigators spielen seit 1998 zusammen. Ihr Sound verbindet soul und Funk der späten 60er Jahre,klingen dabei aber zeitlos. Nicole Willis & the S.I. haben neben zahlreicher Single Veröffentlichungen bereits 3 Alben veröffentlicht.: Keep Reachin’ Up (2005) , Tortured Soul (2013) und jetzt die aktuelle, brandneue Lp Happiness In Every Style(2014). Der Titelsong von Keep Reachin' up schaffte es in die offizielle Spotify Playlist von Präsent Obama, die zu seiner Wiederwahl präsentiert wurde. So wurde Nicole Willis auch einem Publikum ausserhalb der klassischen Soul Scene bekannt. Garantiert wird Nicole mit ihrer Band Euch und dem Lido kräftig einheizen!!! Wir lieben sie!!
Legendär sind natürlich auch die Soul Explosion Partys um den Berliner Dj King Dynamite. Bereits seit 2000 feiert die Berliner Party Crowd den zeitlosen funky soul Sound und sprengt dabei alle möglichen Rekorde, die es in diesem Genre zu sprengen gibt. Mittlerweile gilt die Party , die 2 mal monatlich im Bassy und im Lido stattfindet , als die größte regelmäßige funk Party Europas. Wir freuen uns natürlich ganz besonders auf diese Party, auf Nicole Willis und stoßen auf die nächsten 150 Jahre an!!!
