Nach zwei Jahren konstantem touren mit dem 2012er Album „Worship“ ist die im Februar erschienene LP „Transfixiation“ ein mutiger und experimenteller Schritt nach vorn.
Album Nummer vier sollte anders werden als die bisherigen. Anstatt sich auf vorherige Aufnahmetechniken und Details zu fixieren hat sich die Band auf ihre Instinkte verlassen und versucht die Dinge so pur und unverfälscht wie möglich zu belassen. Der Sound des Albums sollte näher an das intensive Level ihrer famosen Live Shows herangebracht werden.
Im April und November 2015 haben A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS dies auf fünf Konzerten einmal mehr bewiesen, als sie die neuen Songs vorgestellt haben.
2016 wird das Trio aus Brooklyn dann noch einmal in Essen und Berlin zu sehen sein. Der Vorverkauf hat bereits begonnen.
