Event Description
NOTE: This is a special kind of Office Hours event. It’s longer than normal, at 90 minutes, and it’s together with a small group of up to 5 people.
It is less than helpful to be told over and over again that German is a hard language to learn. It’s not. But it’s easy to make it hard, when it’s stripped of any fun.
Language Gym is for people who have had enough ‘school’. It’s not school. There’s nothing boring about it. Nobody watches the clock.
In 90 minutes you will (finally and forever) learn everything there is to know about der, das, die. You will wrap your head around the CASE system. You will apply what you learn to make grammatically perfect sentences. Throw in a little yoga German to get your body moving, and brain humming, and you can expect to come out of the session with MORE energy than you went into with.
About Event Holder
Peter Merrick is a Canadian who qualified as a teacher and got his PhD in the U.K. He is also a storyteller and actor who lives in Berlin. Aishah El Muntasser is a native German who speaks multiple languages and has a background in applied linguistics.
