Die skandinavische Musik-Hoffnung GRAVE PLEASURES läutet mit neuem Album und Deutschland-Tournee den Einmarsch der Dunkelheit ein. Als 2013 das Debutalbum "Climax“ der damalig noch als Beastmilk bekannten Finnen erschien hallte ihr "schmerzerfüllter Kriegsgeschrei der ewiglich Verdammten", wie es ein Journalist beschrieb, bei Fans aller Genres wider! Metalheads, Indie-, sowie Hardcore-szene, als auch Rock- und Gothic Punks feierten das Album gleichermaßen. Meinungsmachende Medien wie The Guardian, NME und Pitchfork bescherten der Band Traumkritiken und prophezeiten der Band Großes! Nach dem Ausstieg von Gründungsmitglied Johan Snell Anfang diesen Jahres benannten sich Beastmilk kurzerhand in GRAVE PLEASURES um und kündigten im gleichen Zug ein weiteres musikalisches Meisterwerk an, welches diesen September auf Sony Music erscheinen wird.
Über kaum eine Band wurde in letzter Zeit mehr geredet als über die Apocalyptic Post-Punks GRAVE PLEASURES.Kaum ein Album wird derzeit sehnsüchtiger erwartet, als der Nachfolger des "Climax-Releases". Vorab verrät die Band, dass wir ein "rohes, wildes und intensives Punk-Album" erwarten können, das "jeden feuchten Bunker entzünden und jede Station zum Einsturz bringen kann" und ein "Höhepunkt unserer schallenden Liebesaffäre mit der Apokalypse" sein wird.
Im September und Oktober geht es dann direkt auf Deutschland-Headliner-Tournee, um das kommende Album zu feiern. Wir können zweifellos gespannt sein, welches Meisterwerk die Finnen derzeit im Studio erschaffen und uns im Herbst auf furiose Art und Weise in den glühenden Clubs der Republik auftischen werden.
