Das KNM campus ensemble ist eine Gruppe von erwachsenen Amateurmusiker:innen und stellt zusammen mit dem Profiensemble KNM Berlin am ersten Tag ein gemeinsames Programm vor. Die performativen Stücke von Ana Maria Rodriguez und Jessie Marino erlauben ein nahtloses Miteinander der unterschiedlichen instrumentalen Fähigkeiten. Im Zentrum steht Eliav Brands Music for (absolutely all) the People, das sich auf zwei Lieder zur Brüderlichkeit bezieht: Beethovens Ode an die Freude und Imagine von John Lennon.

Die Klangwerkstatt Berlin 2022 hat das Thema Schönheit. Die Frage nach Schönheit ist nicht nur legitim, sondern geradezu zwingend in einer Zeit des Krieges, der Klimakrise und der daraus resultierenden globalen Verwerfungen. Denn Schönheit und Wahrhaftigkeit bedingen einander. Schönheit kann uns – im Wortsinn – ergreifen. Sie lässt uns das Unbekannte im Gewohnten entdecken. Damit ist sie ein Akt der Selbstermächtigung und der Freiheit. Schönheit betrifft den Menschen ganz. Das Programm präsentiert 20 Konzerte, Performances, Musiktheater, Familienkonzerte, Kinder- und Jugendensembles, Mittagsmusiken mit Imbiss und einen langen Filmabend.
