Nachdem sie in den letzten Nullerjahren ausgiebig in Europa tourten, 5 genrebildende und von Kritikern gefeierte Alben aufnahmen, sowie zwei Mal für den «Norwegian Grammy» nominiert waren, bringen The Low Frequency in Stereo ihre einzigartige Kombination aus unerwarteten musikalischen Spannungen, Rhythmuswechseln und Psychedelia wieder auf die Bühnen Deutschlands. Diese legendäre und exzentrische norwegische Band begann als eine minimalistische Post Rock Band. Mit der Zeit entwickelten sie ihren Stil und fügten mehr Psychedelia und Space Rock zu ihrem Sound. Heutzutage klingen sie wie eine Krautrock Explosion gefüllt mit psychedelischen Momenten.The Low Frequency In Stereos Musik lebt von Improvisation, weshalb die Band immer vital und frisch wirkt und kein Auftritt klingt wie der andere. Im Moment arbeitet die Formation an neuem Material und nutzt die Zwischenzeit um Deutschland für ein paar wenige Daten zu besuchen.
Ihre Konzerte werden immer frenetisch gefeiert, was daran liegen mag, dass sie nie mit sich zufrieden sind und dem Publikum immer ihre beste Show liefern wollen.
Ihre letzte Veröffentlichung «Live At Moldejazz» (Long Branch Records, 2014) vereint die raue Energie und experimentelle Seite der Band und zeigt einmal mehr, was für eine geniale Liveband Low Frequency In Stereo sind. Die aktuelle Besetzung, mit neuem Gitarrist Øystein Braut, strotzt vor Inspiration aus unzähligen Nebenprojekten. Psychedelische Gitarren und Orgeln, gebettet auf monotone Grooves von Bass und Schlagzeug, ergänzt mit den strahlenden Stimmen der beiden Sängerinnen.
Eins ist sicher! Es werden wieder legendäre und unvergessliche Abende auf dieser Tour.
