Reggaebands mit traditionellen Instrumenten und ohne Verwendung digitalen Sounds sind in den letzten Jahren eine der großen Neuheiten der jamaikanischen Reggaeszene. Raging Fyah sind eine der besten und talentiertesten Bands dieser neuen Szene, die jetzt auch außerhalb der Insel durchstarten. Raging Fyah gründeten sich 2006 und sind bis heute ein Kollektiv dem kein Einzelner vorsteht, sondern deren Mitglieder alle an einem Strang ziehen und die ihre tiefe Liebe zur Musik insbesondere bei Live Auftritten voll zum Ausdruck bringen. Die Mission von Raging Fyah ist es echten Roots Reggae zu spielen, aber dabei die Einflüsse von Soul und Rock nicht zu scheuen, sondern zu vereinen. Eindrucksvoll belegten sie das mit Ihrem Debut Album „Judgement Day", das zu den besten Reggaealben der letzten Jahre gehört. Mit Ihrem aktuellen Longplayer „Destiny", welches die Band auf Ihrer Tour erstmalig live in Deutschland vorstellen wird, könnte Raging Fyah der ganz große Durchbruch gelingen.
