    What: Rapid Prototyping

    When: April 18th, 21st, 25th & 28th // from 6:00 - 9:00 pm

How to design a product using 3D printing.

Do you want to turn your creativity into something social-minded and useful? Do you have an idea you want to work on, or a project in mind? Do you frequently work with designers and think it’d be good to be able to put yourself in their shoes? Or are you simply curious to know what’s behind most of the design projects you encounter?

Twice a week for a month, you will be learning all there is to know in order to run a successful project, from basic research and design methodology to knowledge about materials, production techniques and ecodesign. You will discover the many hidden facets of the design practice: how to integrate a project within a complex system, how to build a working prototype, as well as how to communicate and distribute your project.

We will start session 3 by getting familiar with product design methodology and the steps used in rapid prototyping. Everyone will be divided in groups where you will put your creative thinking processes in solving the challenge from Session 1.
