"Ich habe Gitarre gespielt, solange ich denken kann, aber ich war immer viel zu ängstlich um zu singen.’ Glücklicherweise hat David Rhodes seine Angst überwunden und inzwischen drei EPs und sein Debütalbum ‚Wishes’ veröffentlicht. Im Februar 2016 bricht der Brite Rhodes bereits zu seiner zweiten Headliner-Tour nach Deutschland auf.
Rhodes kam durch seinen Vater schon früh mit dem Blues in Kontakt, was ihn zum Gitarrespielen veranlasste. Seine Vorliebe für Bands wie Blur, Oasis oder Nirvana brachten ihn zum Piano und die Mitgliedschaft in einer Band während seiner College-Zeit schließlich zum Bass. Das lehrte ihn, seine großartigen Songs zu schreiben, die er gemeinsam mit James Kenosha auch selbst produziert.
