Die Wiederbelegung des Schlachtfests. Eine alte Tradition wird neu gefeiert! Jeder Abend und das dazugehörige Menü ist eine Hommage an ein Tier, das in die region gezüchtet wurde. Berlins talentierteste Köche zeigen was "from farm to table" und "nose to tail" eigentlich bedeutet.
Das Mr.Susan Team arbeitet seit 3 Jahren mit einem Viehzüchter aus die region zusammen, um einmal im Jahr ein Rind und ein Schwein zu schlachten.
Dieses Jahr haben sich Mr.Susan und Kavita Goodstar mit drei Teams aufstrebender Berliner Köche und Wurstmeister zusammen getan, um ein Schlachtfest der ganz besonderen Art zu feiern. Als Hommage an das SCHAF wurde eine kulinarische Reise in vier Gängen durch und um das Schaf kreiert, vom Hof auf den Tisch.
Für dieses epische Ess-Fest wird sich jedes Team bestimmte Teile des Schaf vornehmen und an verschiedenen Orten in der Markthalle IX servieren.

Inspiration and idea comes from Mr. Susan who every year work together with a farm in the region to slaughter and butcher one cow and one pig that is used season round as a base for many of their dishes.
Kicking off our 2nd dinner in 2015, Mr. Susan and Kavita Goodstar have brought together Berlin's brightest rising star cooks and food craftsman for a very special butchers dinner to pay homage to the Sheep and showcase an eclectic and authentic 4 course meal.
Each Chef team will prepare a specific part of the sheep in their own cooking style. The feast will be served in family style fun in the Markthalle IX on Saturday June 13th.
And of course there will be a full bar manned by Berlin's finest bartenders including Heidenpeters Beer! This is an event you don't want to miss.
