Zwischen all den schnellen Moden, Trends und Meinungen schimmert sie ruhig und zeitlos hervor. In kurzen Momenten taucht sie in einer flüchtigen Kombination aus Eleganz, Anmut und Bewegung auf. ALLURE ist unfassbar, unbeschreiblich und unerreichbar im ewigen Rauschen des Zeitgeistes.
Seit über 25 Jahren sammelt die Schweizer Journalistin, Publizistin und Unternehmerin Susanne von Meiss Fotografien mit dem speziellen Fokus auf ALLURE und spannt einen repräsentativen Bogen über alle Genres und Stile der Fotografiegeschichte hinweg – von den 1920er-Jahren bis zur Gegenwart.
Ihre persönliche Auswahl reicht von Diane Arbus, Richard Avedon, René Burri und Henri Cartier-Bresson über Horst P. Horst, Irving Penn, Paolo Roversi und August Sander bis zu zeitgenössischen Künstlern Tracey Emin, Nan Goldin, Daidō Moriyama, Richard Prince und Juergen Teller. Die Sammlung wird bei C/O Berlin erstmals öffentlich präsentiert.
Führung inkl. Ausstellung: 15 Euro. Karten nur an der Abendkasse. Begrenztes Kontingent.
