Eine Vorliebe zum Querhören steht im Mittelpunkt der neuen Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem zeitgenössischen Sextett hear now berlin (Deutschland), dem Saxophon-Virtuosen und Komponisten Ken Thomson (Bang On A Can All-Stars, USA) und dem Bassist James Banner. Verbunden in der internationalen Gemeinschaft aus Komponist:innen und Interpret:innen, die in Berlin aktiv sind, kommen diese Musiker:innen 2024 zum ersten Mal zusammen, und präsentieren eine Musik, die sie gemeinsam für ihre einzigartige Besetzung erarbeitet haben, und die eine eklektische Bandbreite von Einflüssen umfasst.
TOGETHER! präsentiert neben neuen Werken für die erweiterte Besetzung aus Kammersextett, Saxophon und Kontrabass spannende Werke der jungen US-amerikanischen Avantgarde, die in Deutschland nur selten zu hören sind. Ergänzt wird diese Auswahl um Musik von jungen Komponistinnen aus Deutschland, Sophia Jani und TONALI-Preisträgerin Michaela Catranis. Das Publikum kann sich auf einen vielschichtigen Kammerjazz freuen, der mit Vitalität und Virtuosität auf die Bühne gebracht wird.
An affinity for lateral listening is at the heart of a new collaboration between contemporary sextet hear now berlin (Germany), saxophone virtuoso and composer Ken Thomson (Bang On A Can All-Stars, USA) and bassist James Banner. Connected by the international community of composers and performers active in Berlin, these musicians come together for the first time in 2024 to present music for their unique line-up, spanning an eclectic range of influences.
TOGETHER! presents new works for chamber sextet, saxophone and double bass as well as exciting works by the young US avant-garde that are rarely heard in Germany. This selection will be complemented by music by young composers from Germany, Sophia Jani and TONALI prizewinner Michaela Catranis. The audience can look forward to a multi-dimensional chamber jazz performed with vitality and virtuosity.

I have not received my TOGETHER! ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your TOGETHER! tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your TOGETHER! tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
