Europe will for the first time in history host a VMB! The spectacular VMB Qualifying will take place September 12th-15th in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Now you have the chance to watch the world's biggest capoeira competition on the planet live. The famous presenter Mr. Flávio Amaral is coming to Sweden, and is promising a spectacular show!
One of the commentators will be no one less than the founder of VMB Mr. Saverio Scarpati. You will have the opportunity to meet him in Sweden in September.
Four days will be filled with competition, workshop, roda and lecture. Capoeiristas from all around Europe will compete in kids, teens, intermediate, master, men and women categories.

Volta do Mundo – Bambas is the biggest capoeira competition in the world, which pits capoeira athletes from different countries face to face in search of the belt.
The VMB started and took shape in 2022 in Rio de Janeiro, and gained broad support and attention from various groups in the capoeira community. In less than two years, the event has already established itself as a brand and holder of the world belt in the sport. Today the VMB is present annually in Rio's sporting and tourist calendar such as the Rio Marathon, the Samba school Carnival parade and the Rio Open in sport etc.

The VMB Qualifying in Gothenburg is a cooperation between four local organizers that represent three different capoeira associations in Sweden.
