Die von Max Dax 2005 ins Leben gerufene Very Unimportant People Lounge (VUP Lounge) ist eine uneinnehmbare Gegenposition zur hedonistischen Funktionalität des Berliner Nachtlebens. Die stets wechselnden Gast-DJs and your host Max Dax betrachten ihre Sets als experimentelles Äquivalent zum Pianospieler in der Hotelbar: Man kommt, um zu reden, man trinkt, um zu bleiben.
Musik als Träger von Ideen: Viele grandiose Ideen und Projekte, die die Welt verändert haben, sind in der VUP Lounge en passant ersonnen worden.
