Cultivating actionable insight and building a learning organization are critical to reaching your goals – and making more money.

Through lectures, teamwork-based stimulations, as well as crucial feedback, peer review and mentorship on different aspects of data- driven management, you will empower yourself to make fast and accurate decisions while managing your team and/or company. You will leave the course with the ability to use different tools to better structure workflow and manage your decisions.

SESSION OVERVIEW

Session 1 - February 11th

You will get an introduction to data-driven management and learn how to incorporate your creativity and intuition into a data-driven approach to growing your business. We will cover awareness of your own leadership and decision making styles, as well as learn how to recognize the styles of others and work as a team towards organizational goals.

In the second part you will learn to set goals, create work streams and delegate responsibility in a structured manner that is flexible enough to adapt to a dynamic situation. We will discuss how to support organizational goals with insight, as well as specify metrics and create an effective performance management system.

Session 2 - February 12th

Implementing a data-driven management initiative means managing change and continuously learning and improving. Learn the fundamentals of how to evaluate the success of a metric, as well as how to action insight and develop a learning organization.

The culmination of this course will focus on the architecture of a data-driven management framework, as well as creating an implementation plan. You will get feedback regarding practicability and best practices.

INSTRUCTOR: Elizabeth Press

Elizabeth Press is co-founder of D3M Labs. She built up and managed business intelligence, predictive analytics and customer lifetime value functions in Germany and globally for Dell. She has published papers on predictive analytics, as well as knowledge management and innovation and was an official Dell Social Subject Matter Expert on Decision Management and Organizational Transformation.
