Description

INTRODUCTION

This is the signup page for the larp College of Wizardry 13: Midterm Madness, held on May 11 - 14, 2017. You can read about the project on cowlarp.com.

PAYMENT

The payment is made in three lumps, to make it easier to spread out the expenditure.

Buying the first lump (CoW13 - 1st lump) secures you a place at the larp.
The 2nd lump (CoW13 - 2nd lump) must be paid by February 10, 2017.
The 3rd lump (CoW13 - 3rd lump) must be paid March 10, 2017.

You are of course very welcome to pay everything at once, which gives a 10% discount, making the larp cost 420€ instead of 465€. If you want to do this, grab a "CoW13 - pay all at once" ticket instead.

POTENTIAL PROBLEMS

Billetto require the cardholder to use a credit card with 3Dsecure - verified by Visa and Mastercard. This is unfortunately the only way to secure that ticket buyer is also the holder of the card. Buyers without 3Dsecure would at all times be able to do a chargeback on the order and Billetto would not be able to prove that buyer is also the card holder. Organisers goes to great lengths to create the optimal atmosphere for the attendees and to allow for the organisers to plan the best events possible Billetto takes security in monetary transaction very serious and provide a service where the organiser can rely on data. If you as a ticket buyer struggle to complete your purchase please contact your credit card issuer to find a solution.

If that doesn't work, write to Edin at edinsumar@gmail.com or Claus at claus.raasted@gmail.com, and we'll help you find another way (Paypal, for example).

PHOTO & VIDEO POLICY

If you sign up for the larp, you accept our photo & video policy. It's quite simple, actually. We have photographers and sometimes a video crew at the events, and that means that you may appear in pictures or video. We'll be very respectful about it, of course, but mention it here so there's no misunderstandings later. If there are scenes with questionable content (stuff that might be problematic if taken out of context), we will get permission from the participants involved before releasing it, but if it's just pics/videos of people in nice costumes and pointy teeth, we won't ask first.

CANCELLATIONS

Tickets are personal. If you end up not being able to go to the larp, we will do our best to get a replacement player, and if we do (it's usually quite easy up until a few months before the larp), you'll get the full amount back - minus €50 in cancellation fees. You can also find a replacement yourself - that makes it easier to guarantee a refund!

AFTER YOU SIGN UP

When you sign up, nothing as such happens. You don't get any introduction mail, or such. When we have a full cast (around 135 players) we'll start the casting process, and there will be a ton of info. If you have questions you would like answered before that, you're more than welcome to mail to us! The reason we don't mail out a lot of info isn't that we don't have it - it's just easier sending to everyone at once.

QUESTIONS

If you have any questions, mail to Edin (edinsumar@gmail.com). He will do his best to help you!

FAQ

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

  • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

  • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.

  • What is refund protection and why would I need it?

Refund Protection provides you with the assurance that if unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances interfere with your ability to attend an event you can claim a refund. For more information on this, read here.
