Ich, als Zuschauer*in: Do I take part? Bin ich Teil dessen, was ich da zu hören und zu sehen bekomme? Was hier passiert?
Im Mittelpunkt des langen Abends mit ensemble mosaik stehen zwei Werke, die 2009 bzw. 2013 bei der Klangwerkstatt uraufgeführt wurden und nun in neuem Gewand erscheinen: Johannes Kreidlers „Fremdarbeit“ (2009/2020) und Neo Hülckers „Mitarbeit – Nacharbeit“ (2013/2020). Beide Stücke stellen die Fragen nach der Originalität des Materials und der Rolle der/s Komponist*in. In der Gegenüberstellung von Ursprungs- und Neufassung treten die Stücke zugleich mit dem Publikum in einen Austausch darüber, welche Gültigkeit die künstlerische Position von damals heute besitzt. Muss sie neu formuliert oder gar überschrieben werden? Anton Wassiljews neues Stück nimmt dagegen die Rolle der Zuhörenden in den Blick: Wie verändert sich Musik durch Nähe oder Distanz, An- und Abwesenheit des Publikums

Die Klangwerkstatt Berlin 2022 hat das Thema Schönheit. Die Frage nach Schönheit ist nicht nur legitim, sondern geradezu zwingend in einer Zeit des Krieges, der Klimakrise und der daraus resultierenden globalen Verwerfungen. Denn Schönheit und Wahrhaftigkeit bedingen einander. Schönheit kann uns – im Wortsinn – ergreifen. Sie lässt uns das Unbekannte im Gewohnten entdecken. Damit ist sie ein Akt der Selbstermächtigung und der Freiheit. Schönheit betrifft den Menschen ganz. Das Programm präsentiert 20 Konzerte, Performances, Musiktheater, Familienkonzerte, Kinder- und Jugendensembles, Mittagsmusiken mit Imbiss und einen langen Filmabend.
