Das Programm "Klassik meets Musical" setzt sich aus Songs und Arien aus Oper, Operette und Musical zusammen und wird vorgetragen als eine Herzensangelegenheit von der Sopranistin Sarah Behrendt, dem Musical-Darsteller David Arnsperger (u.a. bekannt als Phantom der Oper und als Graf Krolock aus Tanz der Vampire) und Amélie Saadia am Klavier!

Die drei MusikerInnen trafen sich beim Studium an der Universität der Künste. Jeder arbeitete seither an den unterschiedlichsten Orten, mit verschiedenen Orchestern und Theatern zusammen und ging seinen eigenen Weg. David Arnsperger entwickelte sich zu einen der gefragtesten Musicalsänger dieser Zeit. Sag die Hauptrollen beim Phantom der Oper, Rocky, Cats, Tanz der Vampire, Titanic und vielen anderen. Sarah Behrendt ist eine international gefeierte Sopranistin, die Konzert- und Theaterverpflichtungen schon nach China, Litauen, Polen, Italien, Frankreich, Österreich und die Schweiz führten und betreut verschiedene Chöre, leitet Gesangsworkshops und ist war den ORSO ev für den Chor beim Glöckner von Notre Dame am Apollo Theater Stuttgart und am Theater des Westens Berlin verantwortlich . Amélie Saadia ist ein Multitalent: Sie spielt Klavier, ist eine gefragte Mezzosopranistin und hat ihr eigenes Musik-Kabarett Programm als „Miss Amüsgöll“. Die drei Musiker verbindet seither eine Freundschaft und der Wunsch nach einem gemeinsamen Konzertprogramm besteht schon lange.
Nach einer gelungenen und von der Presse gefeierten Premiere freuen sich die drei Musiker wieder gemeinsam auf der Bühne zu stehen und die beiden Sparten von Klassik und Musical zu kombinieren und gemeinsam zu musizieren.
Das Programm bietet etwas für jeden: Schwungvoll mit Songs, Arien und Duette u.a. aus Tanz der Vampire, La Bohemé, Phantom der Oper, Die Fledermaus, Jekyll and Hyde und Le Nozze di Figaro.
