Dirigent und Violinist Guy Braunstein und Komponist und Pianist Ohad Ben-Ari laden am 12.2. zu einem Kammerkonzert, besser gesagt zu einem musikalischen Fest in die Villa Elisabeth ein:
Das abwechslungsreiche Programm beginnt mit Beethovens berühmter „Kreutzer-Sonate“, einem von Guy Braunstein besonders geliebten Werk; es folgt die speziell für ihn komponierte und erst im letzten Jahr von ihm uraufgeführten Komposition "Portrait“ der Komponistin Gili Schwarzman. Nach der Pause führt der Weg nach England: “The beatles are coming!” Nein, nicht wirklich. Aber sie hätten bestimmt ihre Freude an der Rhapsody, die Guy Braunstein aus ihrem legendären Album „Abbey Road“ arrangiert und komponiert hat. Ursprünglich wollte er nur einen Song herausgreifen, doch die Qual der Wahl angesichts dieses genialen Albums ... heraus kamen ganze elf Liedbearbeitungen, spielerisch verbunden durch kurze Interludien, gekrönt von einer nahezu monsterartigen Kadenz.
