What will there be left to hear in a time when birds have disappeared? In a not-so-distant future, the visitors step into a polyphonic tangle of voices, spawning from buried memories of what we could once hear, and what we think we once heard. The three performers Jessica Gardani, Josefine Mühle and Antoine Sarrazin embody hybrid bird-beings, who have left the border between human, machine and animal far behind them. Bird voices, noises, and their imitations build a musical ornithology, composed by Michael Rauter, that reaches far beyond our usual conception of species. A temporary territory appears, inhabited by singing.
