Schwebstoff für 9 Stimmen ist ein Musiktheaterstück von Moritz Gagern, uraufgeführt von dem achtköpfigen Vokalensemble The Present und einer Schauspielerin.
Der Titel Schwebstoff leitet sich davon ab, dass die scheinbar leere und neutrale Luft voll von Stoffen ist, die klein und leicht genug sind, um in ihr zu schweben und eingeatmet zu werden, was zu sanitären und ökologischen Krisen führen kann, wie wir wissen. Zum anderen ist auch Musik ein Schwebstoff: ohne Luft kann der Schall sich nicht ausbreiten und ohne Schall gibt es keine Stimme.
Das in der Luft Schwebende wird zum Stoff eines Stückes. Dazu gehören auch Versuche, die Luft kulturell zu begreifen und ihr einen gebührenden Platz in unseren Mythologien zu geben. Ob es der Heilige Geist ist oder sein Pendant in anderen Kulturen, die Luftgötter beherrschten alle Himmel. Der Mensch hat diesen Raum kolonisiert, doch weniger als je zuvor können wir die Atmosphäre "wie Luft behandeln". Die erste Form der Aeronautik war die Ballonfahrt. Mit ihr wurde der Mensch selbst zum Schwebstoff, der vom Wind dahingetragen wird.
Die Stimme verbindet diese Themen. Die Lunge ist die Schnittstelle zwischen Organismus und Atmosphäre. Kann der Gesang die Luft plastisch formen, so dass sie selbst hörbar wird? Kann das Medium sprechen, der Bote selbst zum Motiv werden? Beansprucht Eingeatmetes langfristig eine Position in der Partitur? Wie können wir sie in ihrer Macht und Zerbrechlichkeit thematisieren und welche Rolle spielt die Stimme dabei?

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
