Musik anders hören, eine Pause im hektischen Alltag. Mitglieder des Ensembles JungeMusik spielen zur Mittagszeit zwei bis drei Musikstücke, dazu wird ein Imbiss gereicht.
Für das Ensemble und seinen Leiter Helmut Zapf ist diese Konzertreihe auch ein Rückblick auf ihre eigene Geschichte. Seit der Gründung der Klangwerkstatt Berlin im Jahr 1990 ist es jedes Jahr in unterschiedlichen Besetzungen mit dabei. Und so stellen die Musiker*innen Werke aus der Anfangszeit des Festivals aktuellen Kompositionen und Stücken von Studierenden der Berliner Musikhochschulen gegenüber. Die Tafelmusik bietet Gelegenheit, mit den Musiker*innen und den anwesenden Komponist*innen ins Gespräch zu kommen.
Am Mittwoch, den 11.11., sind auch die ganz kleinen Hörer*innen der umliegenden Kitas ausdrücklich eingeladen. Das Programm wird entsprechend gestaltet sein, die Musiker*innen erzählen zur Musik und führen ihre Instrumente vor.

Die Klangwerkstatt Berlin 2022 hat das Thema Schönheit. Die Frage nach Schönheit ist nicht nur legitim, sondern geradezu zwingend in einer Zeit des Krieges, der Klimakrise und der daraus resultierenden globalen Verwerfungen. Denn Schönheit und Wahrhaftigkeit bedingen einander. Schönheit kann uns – im Wortsinn – ergreifen. Sie lässt uns das Unbekannte im Gewohnten entdecken. Damit ist sie ein Akt der Selbstermächtigung und der Freiheit. Schönheit betrifft den Menschen ganz. Das Programm präsentiert 20 Konzerte, Performances, Musiktheater, Familienkonzerte, Kinder- und Jugendensembles, Mittagsmusiken mit Imbiss und einen langen Filmabend.
