Nach ihrem gefeierten Auftritt in der Halle424 mit Alyona Mick (2018) gastiert Tori Freestone in diesem Jahr mit ihrem Trio bei uns. Sie stellt ihr neues Album „El Mar de Nubes“ vor, zu dem sie eine Wanderung auf Teneriffa inspiriert hat. Die Idee zum Titelbild basiert auf Casper David Friedrichs Bild „Der Wanderer über dem Nebelmeer‘, zu bewundern in der Hamburger Kunsthalle!
Tori trägt seit Jahren maßgeblich zum nnovativen Renommée der neuen UK Jazz Szene bei, was ihr in den letzten Jahren viele Preise und hervorragende Kritiken eingebracht hat. Das neue Album lebt von ihren einzigartigen Kompositionen, in der Form inspiriert von zeitgenössischen, akkordlosen Trios, gemischt mit Klängen, die an ihre Wurzeln in der Folkmusik erinnern. Lateinamerikanische und Brasilianische Elemente kommen ebenfalls zum Tragen, beeinflusst von ihrer Jugend auf den Kanarischen Inseln, wo sie auch dieses Album komponiert hat.
Tori spielt diese Kompositionen in ihrem eigenen melodischen aber robusten Stil, für den sie bekannt ist. In der Interaktion mit ihren langjährigen, weltweit nachgefragten Kollegen Tim Giles und Dave Manington entsteht eine Dynamik und eine Spielfreude, die sich bei Live-Auftritten auf das Publikum überträgt. Mit seinen früheren Alben (In the Chophouse“ und „El Barranco“) tourte das Trio durch ganz Europa und trat auf bekannten Jazzfestivals auf.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
