Das Wiener Choro Ensemble nahm 2020 sein erstes Album Viena Brasileira unter der musikalischen Leitung von Antônio de Pádua und Marco Antônio da Costa auf. Dieses Album ist eine Hommage an die Stadt Wien und ihre musikalische Tradition. Von Rio de Janeiro nach Wien lädt die Gruppe Sie zu einer Reise zu den Wurzeln der populären brasilianischen Musik (Choro, Samba und Bossa Nova) ein. Wie der Jazz erforscht das Repertoire eine künstlerische Freiheit des individuellen, kollektiven und improvisierten Ausdrucks dieses Quintetts von Virtuosen. Das Ergebnis lässt den Hörer in ein außergewöhnliches kreatives Klangerlebnis eintauchen. Die Gruppe erkundet die rhythmischen Wurzeln der brasilianischen Musik und ihre raffinierten Harmonien in einer ganz besonderen Quintettaufführung und feiern große brasilianische Komponisten wie Waldir Azevedo, Pixinguinha oder Tom Jobim.

Zur Anfahrt: Trasching wird recht großzügig umgeleitet wegen Baustelle. Tatsächlich kann man aus Richtung Falkenstein, Regensburg, Zell ohne Umleitung direkt zur Auffahrt des Steinhofs kommen. Aus Richtung Roding, Cham sollte man am Sonntag die Baustelle problemlos passieren können. Wer nix riskieren will, fährt nach Wiesing rechts nach Imhof und folgt dann der Umleitung Loibling. Von Loibling kann man runter auf Trasching fahren.

Live-Konzerte im Woid - im Sommer treten Bands auf 5 verschiedenen Open Air Bühnen auf... am Badesee des Adventure Camp Schnitzmühle (Viechtach), auf der Burgruine Runding, am Steinhof in Zell (Roding), am Drachensee bei Furth im Wald und auf dem Vorplatz beim Alten Spital in Viechtach
Sobald es draußen zu kühl wird, gibt es Konzerte im Alten Spital Viechtach und im Bahnhof Kötzting.
